Portrait of a Homemaker

I don't care for photos of myself. Not at all, makes me very self conscience. But I am participating in a 52 week challenge on Flickr, given by a very talented photog and this weeks challenge is abandonment OR doors. Here in ND there are plenty of abandoned farms but honestly i am not going out in weather that is practically not compatible with human life. Several month ago I noticed that the reflection in my dryer door has a dreamy, smokey quality to it, so I used this challenge to use that door. I promised myself I would stretch and myself with each challenge and defiantly with this one it is that my likeness is in the image. but I have to say overall I am pleased with the picture. I think it really looks like me, the curly hair, a melancholy expression {I am such a Eyeor}, the wrinkles forming on my neck. I love the verse I included in this image. Dim reflection ..... something to come that will be face to face. His great love..... love that abides.
